Dirty Little Dandelions

You know that fresh, wet, sticky kinda mud? Yeah, that kind. DAY TWO of the #SplitToneFiveDayChallenge proposed to me by the equally sticky Alan Shapiro! No idea at all where this particular toning mixture came from for this image shot with the Petzval Art Lens. I played. I revised. I ended up here. And I liked it.
Split toned thisaway:
Highlight hue of 53/Saturation 94
Shadow hue of 34/Saturation 55
Balance toward the highlights at +40
Annnnnd I think today I’m going to ask Mel Peifer if she’d like to play. I’m finding (through experimentation and reviewing Alan’s shots) that this process seems particularly suited to flowers and I KNOW that Mel is a splendiferous flora fotographer! If’n you’d like to mess around, Melissa!!
